Adventure
So I decided to actually get my haircut because I wanted to change it up (and my mom would not be able to do what I wanted). So on Wednesday I went to this one apartment to get it cut. This is two days after I got it cut and I styled it the day before.
Then I decided to be adventurous and do something that I have never done...Dye my hair.
I have always wanted to dye my hair, but I was too indescisive to decide what color and a time to do it. I have been trying to be less indecisive this year, so I decided to finally do it. Amber being Amber wanted to film it and put it on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F94yoF7FYVk&feature=share&list=UU3I6tdxwTDbXYrLR_LoZq0g so ya. This is me in the process of getting the dye in.
Here are a few pictures of the after affect. There is only a slight blue tint to my hair when the light hits it right. You cannot really see it in photos, but you can imagine it.
I also decided to be adventerouse by not starting my essay due on monday (rough draft, and only a section) until Sunday night at 8. Don't worry I have a three hour break after my first class so I also worked on it then and finished it with plenty of time to spare.

Sushi and Masks and Food
One night Amber and I were doing something (probably watching youtube) and got hungry. So Amber made me go and get sushi with her from the store. I have made a personal life choice to try everything that is put in front of me (with some moderation), and I really want to go to one of those sushi places with the conveyor belt thingy that brings you your food, so I agreed to try some of it. I tried a California roll (the right container) and just a seaweed wrap thingy (the middle of the left. I refused to try the things on the side of the left because I had had enough of sushi with the other two. I still didn't like it.
On a happier note, the school had a masquerade ball for valentines day, and so Amber and I being lonely hearts (and Amber really wanted to go to a masquerade ball) decided to go. Amber had her grandparents buy her a mask from a shop by them and send the dress. There is a craft store across the street from my apartment complex so I went over there and bought a mask and paint.I also bought a black shirt (because I don't have one up here) and borrowed a tie from Mack (mine didn't match as well as the one I borrowed.
After the ball we went back to Amber's apartment and watched Anastasia. We had to get some food for us so we went to go get pizza and drinks. My mask was still wet on the edges so if you look closely you can see some black paint on my face. I also took this picture without seeing what I was capturing so we were all really happy that it turned out on the first one.
Yesterday Madison and I went to Applebees to catch up with each other. It was fun and we had a blast. I also hung out with Amber and Emily this weekend.

Update
So one of the many perks of being in my new place is the kitchen. I have definitely been eating things other than canned soup. One meal that I have cooked was backed zetie (I have no idea how to spell that btw) which is shown below. One day my roommate Corey wanted to have a bunch of girls (one of which he was talking to and is now dating) over for dinner one night. Being the kindhearted person I am I offered to cook for it. I decided to go simple and make enchiladas (the green sauce ones) well I kinda didn't have enough so each person got two enchiladas, but I blame it on my lack of info. Other than that they turned out great and tasted good as well.
Other than cooking more, I have also been going to things on campus more. For my piano class I have to attend three concerts during the semester. I of course love concerts so I was game for it. You know what else I love? Celtic dancing/singing. So I had to get tickets to the Celtic Nights concert. Of course I went with one of my few friends here Amber because she loves Celtic/Irish things as well. It was amazing and I love the fiddle and the voices and everything about it.Amber is a "meet the actors" type of person, and everyone knows that I am not that type of person at all, but she won this argument. Of course when we get up there she cannot say a word so I have to do all of the talking. The three girls are dancers and the guy is the fiddle player (one of our favorites).
Another concert that I went to was the barbershop quartet night. There were some campus groups and then two award winning groups, one from California and one from Sweden. I liked the Swedish group the best which is the first pic below. Of course Amber needed a picture... and of course she clammed up and made me do all of the talking.
Many of you may have also found out through facebook that me and Amber made a youtube video. If you haven't seen it here is the link http://youtu.be/_NzzWkMvDOg

Apartment Tour
So you guys finally get to see my apartment people! You should be so excited....... actually it is really boring. Anywho, here is my bedroom. (don't pay attention to the mess)
This is from the perspective of the little alcove in the next picture. The one closes to the camera is Mack's bed, the one behind it is mine, and then the last one is Nic's.Here is the viewpoint from the door. You can see my desk and that giant glowing thing is our one window. Mack and Nic both have a TV and an xbox so they play that alot.
This is our living room. We only have five seats on the couch for seven people. We have a TV and surround sound. We only have two outlets, one behind the small couch and one under the table thingy in the corner.
This is our kitchen/dining room. We again only have five seats, but almost none of us eat there so it is fine. We have two fridges and that is really nice.
We also have two bathrooms (I wasn't about to take a picture of that because that is just weird) and two showers which makes getting ready easier. As I said before there are seven of us in the apartment. We have a 25-year-old RM named Kade, a recently returned RM named Corey, a soon to be leaving Pacific Islander named Taveda, a guy that was in Chapman complex last year named David, and then you know Mack and Nic. I get along with them all for the most part.
