Update

So one of the many perks of being in my new place is the kitchen. I have definitely been eating things other than canned soup. One meal that I have cooked was backed zetie (I have no idea how to spell that btw) which is shown below. One day my roommate Corey wanted to have a bunch of girls (one of which he was talking to and is now dating) over for dinner one night. Being the kindhearted person I am I offered to cook for it. I decided to go simple and make enchiladas (the green sauce ones) well I kinda didn't have enough so each person got two enchiladas, but I blame it on my lack of info. Other than that they turned out great and tasted good as well.
Other than cooking more, I have also been going to things on campus more. For my piano class I have to attend three concerts during the semester. I of course love concerts so I was game for it. You know what else I love? Celtic dancing/singing. So I had to get tickets to the Celtic Nights concert. Of course I went with one of my few friends here Amber because she loves Celtic/Irish things as well. It was amazing and I love the fiddle and the voices and everything about it.

Amber is a "meet the actors" type of person, and everyone knows that I am not that type of person at all, but she won this argument. Of course when we get up there she cannot say a word so I have to do all of the talking. The three girls are dancers and the guy is the fiddle player (one of our favorites).
Another concert that I went to was the barbershop quartet night. There were some campus groups and then two award winning groups, one from California and one from Sweden. I liked the Swedish group the best which is the first pic below. Of course Amber needed a picture... and of course she clammed up and made me do all of the talking.

Many of you may have also found out through facebook that me and Amber made a youtube video. If you haven't seen it here is the link http://youtu.be/_NzzWkMvDOg

  1. That video is funny. I felt so bad for you getting all the yucky flavors and now having to do all the talking?! Are you living in your own little nightmare?? The food looks good, are you surviving without your cooking shirt? Love you!

  2. So nice to finally be able to cook some more! Your events sound fun (other than the having to talk to strangers bit--ugh)! You are crazy to do the Bean boozled challenge. So gross!
